The 3D panels can be installed on a variety of surfaces, including walls and ceilings. We recommend installing them on a dark, uniform-colored surface. As wood is sensitive to humidity, it may contract when dry and expand when exposed to moisture, potentially creating small gaps between the planks.

For proper installation, ensure the surface is dry and free of dust and debris. We recommend using high-quality construction adhesive. If using nails, ensure a flat surface and use 1-inch finish nails, 18ga brad, or 23ga pin nails. Tools like a fine-tooth saw, miter saw, miter box, hammer, ruler, staples, and a carpenter's square can aid in the easy installation process.

It is important to note that the boards are not entirely sanded flat, and uniform reclaimed wood pieces are not guaranteed. Natural defects and subtle uneven surfaces may be present.

Before installation, allow the panels to acclimate for 36 hours in the room where they will be installed. This helps minimize expansion and contraction. For basements or high-humidity rooms, install a vapor barrier and apply moisture protection measures.

The panels can be installed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, depending on your design preferences. Ensure the panels are securely nailed and glued to a sturdy surface.
